How to convert BPM to ms(delay time)

I found a formula for converting beats per minute (BPM) to (ms)delay time.

( 60,000 / BPM ) x multiplier = delay in ms

Dotted 1/8        0.75
*1/8 note          0.5

1/16 note         0.25
Triplet 1/16      0.167

*=most common delay used

Ex: 60,000/142 x 0.5=211.268ms therefore you would dial in 211ms for 142bpm


If you are unsure of the BPM use a metronome or count how many beats in 1 minute of the song.
